Sammy Russ Named MCAC Player of the Week

Russ helped lead the Ironhawks to their first win in over two years with a 27 point, 12 rebound and 4 block showing at Oak Hills Christian College on Sunday. Russ also had 8 points and 5 rebounds in the season opening loss at Dakota County Tech on Wednesday, November 2nd. Russ will look to continue his strong play as Vermilion hosts the number three team in the nation, Riverland Community College on Thursday night.
